This isn't the cheapest convent in Rome, but it's certainly one of the best. Overlooking beautiful Piazza Farnese, it offers pleasant, no-frills room in a picturesque palazzo (where the Swedish St Brigid died in 1373) on one of Rome's great squares. The only snag is an 23:00 curfew.
